Born and raised in communist Romania, I came to the United States at 24, seeking freedom, opportunities, and stability. From an early age, I was captivated by the quest to expand our understanding of the world. My interests in philosophy, spirituality, and history led me to countless late-night discussions on human nature with friends. After moving to the United States and completing my internal medicine residency, I continued to explore these themes, delving into science, philosophy, and spirituality. My admiration and deep respect for nature found expression in photography, evolving from a passionate hobby to a professional pursuit. I began printing and selling landscape and seascape wall art, participating in competitions, and showcasing my work in multiple local galleries. In recent years, I have also published two coffee table books. As a physician, I have had the privilege of exploring the intricate connections between physical, emotional, and spiritual factors in patient care. I came to understand that many health issues are avoidable, self-induced, and unnecessary, driven by the complexities of human nature. Consequently, in my private practice, I have focused on lifestyle, disease prevention, and minimizing long-term prescription medications. I realized that our new modern lifestyle and culture do not fit our natural design and are responsible for most of today's chronic medical conditions. My fascination with human nature and its connection to the universe led me to start writing my observations, a passion that began in high school and persisted throughout my life. In my early 40s, I embraced Christianity wholeheartedly and began to study the Bible, which provided me with profound insights and clarity, answering many of my long-standing questions. Five years ago, driven by a desire to serve my patients better and reach a broader audience, I embarked on writing a motivational and practical self-improvement book. I aim to share my perspectives on human nature and extend the benefits beyond my medical practice to anyone open to exploring.
