Rex Byers is a family man and businessman living in Central Indiana. He has 3 children and 11 grandchildren at the time of this publication. He plays guitar, among other instruments, and currently plays for The Beatles Remix, a Beatles tribute band. Rex and his wife, Sharon, are still in love after more than 40 years of marriage. Rex went on a mission trip to Haiti in November 2011 and was shot while he and his 13 team members were attacked by 6 armed gunmen in their quarters above a medical clinic outside Port-au-Prince, Haiti. They fought off the bandits with knives, coke bottles, and prayer. They went through Hell and have Heaven to thank for it.
