Hi, I’m Robbie Blackburn, and I’m passionate about exploring the complexities of the human experience through storytelling. After spending over 20 years in the healthcare field, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing both the struggles and triumphs of people in their most vulnerable moments. These experiences have deeply influenced my writing, driving me to craft stories that resonate with readers on an emotional level. My latest book, The Darkness Within, dives into the depths of despair and the journey to finding hope in the darkest places. It’s a story that I hope will connect with anyone who’s faced their own battles and is searching for light. I’m also incredibly excited about my upcoming memoir, Hey Dick: How I Loved and Lost My Brother, which is set to release on February 22, 2025. This book is a deeply personal tribute to my brother and explores the pain of loss, the power of love, and the impact of grief on our lives. When I’m not writing, you can usually find me delving into Civil War history, playing Madden, or just hanging out with my cats, who bring so much joy to my life. I live in Ohio with my amazing wife, Amanda, and our fur-family, who all have their own unique personalities (yes, I’m a bit of a cat dad).
