Robert Blanchard was born in Geneva Switzerland. After a small stint in Florence Italy then Puerto Rico, he ended up in Caracas, Venezuela. He studied at the British School, then was sent to San Antonio military academy in Texas. After three years, he did one year at the Oxford academy in Oxford Connecticut and finished high school in North Miami, Florida. He ended up at Regis College (now University) in Denver Colorado and did my Masters in Architecture at C.U. (University of Colorado). His father was born In D.C. Joined the Army after high school and eventually entered the Special Forces. where he did two tours in Vietnam. His grandfather was Colonel in the Marines. Graduated Annapolis, 1923, Navy cross recipient, aid to Camp at the White House under FDR and fought in both the European and Pacific theaters during WWII. His mother was born in Venezuela and went to high school in New Jersey. Robert has one older sibling author of 'You have Chosen to Remember". Robert Blanchard's first book, "Phoenix Project" Has earned him multiple 5 Star reviews launching his writing career on a high note.
