I am a Christian homeschooling mother of 12 thinkers. My goal in life is to be authentic and a Christian. Learning and creativity drive me. Due to having a lifelong learning bent, I have finished three college degrees in very diverse majors: Home Management, Medical Laboratory, and IT. These degrees have proven valuable in homeschooling my children and guiding them into careers. Although I enjoy academic studies, creating things with my hands is also a love of mine. I have remodeled houses, managed small farm life, practiced herbology, played piano, sewed, done crafts of all sorts, and cooked from scratch for many years. I spent my childhood in Swaziland, southern Africa with my missionary parents. For three years of that time, I went back and forth to boarding school in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. That time stirred my academic pursuit while the times around the Swazis gave me the contrast of black jive and a laid-back lifestyle. All these elements show up in my life today.
