Ruth Pearce | Author • Speaker • Coach • Iconoclast for Well-being and Ethical Coaching Ruth Pearce is on a mission to transform how we think about mental health in the workplace. As a coach, speaker, and advocate, she partners with individuals and organizations to co-create environments where well-being is protected, purpose is clarified, and people thrive. Her belief is simple yet powerful: businesses must become part of the solution—not just a source—of today’s mental health crisis. Unapologetically curious and proudly iconoclastic, Ruth challenges conventional thinking—especially in the coaching world. Whether she’s questioning outdated narratives about burnout, inviting ethical debate on AI in coaching, or guiding a coach-in-training through the leap from ACC to PCC, she leads with bold questions, radical honesty, and deep compassion. She’s especially passionate about walking alongside coaches on their developmental journey—from curious explorers and aspiring practitioners to certified ICF ACC coaches ready to step into the depth and nuance of PCC-level mastery. Ruth creates space for reflection, action, and sometimes joyful disruption. Her motto, Be Hopeful, Be Strong, Be Brave, Be Curious, isn’t just the title of her book—it’s the lens through which she coaches, speaks, and lives. Ruth is described by clients and audiences alike as “engaging and informative,” “thought-provoking,” “inspiring,” and even “not for the faint of heart.” One client summed it up best: “Ruth takes you from thinking and dreaming to doing and being.” Laughter and playfulness are her secret sauces—whether she’s coaching a burnt-out executive, leading a webinar on ethical marketing, or doing cartwheels in the park. Her sanctuary is nature, where she enjoys the company of her two joyful pups, Luka and Misha, and her binkying Lionhead rabbits, BunnyPenny and Dylan. As a collaborative thinker and lifelong learner, Ruth infuses her books with the voices and wisdom of others—poets, neuroscientists, coaches, philosophers, and even characters from movies. For Ruth, every interaction is a chance to be “better tomorrow than I was today”—a motto passed on by her father and etched into the way she teaches, coaches, and writes. Ruth is credentialed by both the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). She holds a law degree, is a licensed attorney (non-practicing), and has an MSc in Economics. She’s trained with some of the world’s top coaches and has taught more than 60 coaches globally. A multi-time author, international speaker, and award-winning coach, Ruth has delivered messages that have reached over 200,000 people worldwide.
