Ryan McIlvain is the author of the novels Elders (longlisted for the Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize) and The Radicals. His writing has appeared in print and online in The Paris Review, The Rumpus, Tin House, Post Road, The Believer, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and other venues, and has received honorable mention in The Best American Short Stories and The Best American Nonrequired Reading. A former recipient of the Stegner Fellowship at Stanford, he now lives with his family in Florida, where he is an assistant professor of English at the University of Tampa.
