Sasha Robnik was born in 1969 in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia and grew up in Würzburg, Germany, where he discovered and fell in love with science fiction. From the age of fifteen, he continued to live in Sarajevo until 1994, after which he settled in Novi Sad, where he still lives. In 2010, the Serbian publishing company Tardis published his collection of urban and folklore fantasy stories "Anđeli na kocki šećera“ (Angels on a Sugar Cube), participated in the translation of Michael Swanwik's "Periodic Table of Science Fiction" into Serbian and was published several times in the Serbian literary magazine Znak Sagite, in a Croatian magazine UBIQ, Slovenian "Supernova", Balkan Literary Herald, Serbian folklore fiction magazine "Omaja", and in the collections "Zbirka V – fantastične priče iz ravnice“ (Collection V - fantastic stories from the Pannonian Plain), "Nešto diše u mojoj torti" (Something breathes in my cake) and the Istrakon's collection "Apokalipsa laži“ (Apocalypse of Lies). Recently, he has been trying to translate his work into German and English.
