Shana Dines is an Indiana native. She lives with her husband Michael and is the mother of five adult children. She is a grandmother as well as a great grandmother and the mother rescuer of a little Boston terrier named Abby which has stolen her mom and dad’s hearts. She is an illustrator and has illustrated Mimi’s tales written by Suzie Raffensperger. She started writing online for many online writing sites, which inspired her to write American Ghost Stories published in 2013. Shana is a professional award-winning artist. She is passionate about teaching and sharing her art with others. She teaches painting at the Elkhart Art League in Elkhart, Indiana. She is a survivor of abuse and helps victims of abuse through her own experiences. That may be why she writes about dysfunctional families, usually triumphing over abuse in their lives. She is a Christian but believes that there are many ways to the one true God. She is interested in and writes about the paranormal having had a lot of experiences with it in her life. Shana is a true believer in good overcoming evil.
