Sherri Stockdale sees turnip people.. and snow people...and gingerbread people... and they won't leave her alone until she brings them to life through drawings and stories. Sherri happily accepts her calling as a medium for these characters and tries her best to do their stories justice. Sherri knew that she wanted to be a writer in elementary school when her poem, "America's Call to Me" was chosen for the bicentennial time capsule; release date: 2076 (100 years from the burial of the capsule in 1976). Sherri hopes to be alive when it drops. Sherri's stories, poems and nonfiction articles have been published in Spider Magazine, Ladybug Magazine and Australia's School magazine, She lives on Cape Cod with her tolerant family and dog. She is lucky enough to teach kindergarten where she can experience imagination in its purest form on a daily basis. When she's not writing about herself in the third person, she is busy trying to organize her thoughts and enjoy her life.
