Stan Guthrie is an author, editor, podcaster, and speaker on current issues and trends from a thoughtful Christian perspective. With Doug LeBlanc, he hosts the "Books & Bonhomie with Stan and Doug" podcast. Through no fault of his own, Stan is the author or coauthor of seven books, including Victorious: Corrie ten Boom and The Hiding Place (Paraclete, 2019). He has also written, edited, represented, and contributed to about 50 more titles, some of which are still in print. Besides working at Christianity Today, Stan has served as a writer and editor for EMQ, World Pulse, The Boca Raton News, and other outlets that you may or may not have heard of. A distressing number of them have since gone out of business. His work has also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, BreakPoint, Books & Culture, and The Federalist. Stan has been a guest on too many radio shows to count (at least for him), most recently “Mornings with Kurt & Kate” on Moody Radio Florida. Currently he is minister of communications at a church in Naperville, Illinois, where it snows and rains too much. Stan has been married to Christine since 1987 and likes her very much. With Christine having done most of the work, they have three adult children (and, shockingly, three grandchildren). Stan was born with a disability that does not define him, but he will tell you about it (and God’s grace) if you ask.
