I wrote my first book at 10 about a girl and boy who could time travel with a magic stone. I haven't stopped reading or writing since. Growing up in a small town without a library, I favored stories about ordinary girls who found themselves in extraordinary circumstances. THE TALISMAN CHRONICLES is female-centric and written for the young and the young at heart who still appreciate fairy tales and legends. My heroines are not damsels in distress - they use wit and instinct to save the day rather than swordplay.
