As a fifth generation native Texan, I had a childhood filled with intriguing stories told by my great grandmother, Grannie Holt. Some true and some quite unbelievable. It is through her that story telling became a passion for me as a child. Family stories varied ranging from railroad station masters, WWII bomber pilots, flying the hump to China to crop dusting in West Texas. My career has evolved from writing educational research, news articles, and technical writing for online training to fiction and poetry. Today I split my time between my Texas ranch and the Sangre de Christo Mountains of New Mexico in the beautiful Moreno Valley. I love exploring the mountain trails and jeeping the high country with my husband Dick and our Australian Sheppard, Pepper.
