"The newest member of my top 10."

"Can't believe I sat on this one in my library for so long! I literally clapped in my car when it was over. I laughed until my face hurt more than once. I absolutely loved every second of the glorious narrator's performances and the author's masterful using of language."
Abby, Audible Listener

"Amazing, emotional, thought-provoking"

"I don’t have the words to describe the ups and downs this book took me through, the journey of empathizing, to deep sorrow, to being infuriated, back to deep sorrow. The author has a very gifted way of telling a story and covering details you didn’t even think you’d want to know at that moment. It comes together beautifully every time. Didn’t think I could love a book as much as American Marriage."
EMT, Audible Listener

"Might be my new favorite author"

"Wow. Tayari Jones is perhaps one of the best modern writers. She brilliantly captures the way a child views the world around her. I was blown away."
