Ted Kemp is a journalist who has worked as an editor, reporter, and field correspondent in the United States, Southeast Asia, Europe, India and the Middle East. He has managed editorial projects and overseen journalists in Iraq, Iran, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, and he has directed whole newsrooms through high-stakes geopolitical and economic coverage around the world. Ted has covered stories ranging from maritime piracy in Southeast Asia to the 2011 London riots. Ted earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and his journalism degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a passionate reader, a boxing aficionado, and a former amateur boxer. He lives in Dubai. The Ragged Edge is Ted's first book.
