I was born in California and grew up in N.W. Arkansas. Growing up, I loved playing sports and started following Christ when I was 17. I played football at the University of Arkansas(Go Hogs!!) where I got discipled through the ministry of Student Mobilization. I met my wife Amber through the ministry and gained a vision for my life to know Christ and make disciples. I was a pre-med student with plans to become a doctor but God led me to join the StuMo staff. Amber and I got married and joined staff after we graduated. I have mentored men since 1991 with the ministry. I received an MABS from Dallas Seminary and was trained as a Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional-Supervisor. After seeing how porn addiction was derailing so many men from fully following Christ, I knew we had to find solutions that were biblically based, scientifically sound, gospel centered, affordable and effective. After ten years of research, training and experience of helping men, I founded The Freedom Fight, an online porn addiction recovery/discipleship program (thefreedomfight.org). Amber and I have four awesome adult children Brooke(son in-law Stuart), Daniel, Kaylie and Lindsey and we live in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I love helping people grow to become more like Christ as they believe His word, apply it to their lives and live for His purposes.
