Terrinee Gundy is a mom, a sister, an aunt, a friend, a lawyer, a judge and the daughter of a junkie. Terrinee was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida where her daddy’s drug addiction to crack cocaine wrecked her family and home life resulting later in a move to South Georgia that proved to be equally as challenging. Despite an early life of constant chaos and dysfunction, Terrinee excelled academically becoming her family’s first college graduate. With a degree from Clark Atlanta University, membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the desire to change the trajectory of her family’s history, Terrinee set her sights on the law and later earned a juris doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law. Upon graduation from law school, Terrinee worked as a state and local tax associate for KPMG and Cox Communications, Inc., respectively. On June 10, 2013, Terrinee was appointed to the bench of the Municipal Court of Atlanta. As a working mom, Terrinee resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her daughter, Mia Michelle, and son, Kevin.
