Dr. Thomas Finn works as a licensed psychologist at the Franciscan Life Center in Meriden, CT, as well as in private practice in Southington. and has led workshops in the U.S. focused on anxiety management, parenting, marriage, human sexuality and spirituality and teaches the annual Pastoral Counseling Seminar at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy. Tom currently serves on the Board of Directors for Southington's Bread for Life community soup kitchen. He received Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical-School Psychology from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Fairfield University. Donna Finn, PT, M.S., recently completed a 45 year career in healthcare serving at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Hartford HealthCare, CT Easter Seal, and Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care. In 2016, Donna was the recipient of the Archdiocese of Hartford Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Award for "outstanding volunteer service in advancement" of Catholic Education. She holds a Master of Science degree in Health Sciences Administration from the State University of N.Y. at Stony Brook, a Professional Certificate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Fairfield University. Tom and Donna served the Archdiocese of Hartford, CT in roles such as coordinators and presenting team for the Engaged Encounter marriage preparation retreat program and coordinated the Archdiocesan Office of Family Life's Annual Marriage Enrichment Program. The Finns served as coordinators in Programs for Human Sexuality for the Family Life Office from 1985-2000 and have published 3 books: Love and Relationships: God’s Plan for Human Sexuality, Intimate Bedfellows: Love, Sex and the Catholic Church, and Making True Love: A Guide to Lasting Relationships. They are recipients of the 2016 Archdiocese of Hartford St. Gianna Beretta Molla Pro-Life Award as advocates for life and marriage.
