Thomas J. Baker had over 33 years of experience in the FBI in a wide variety of roles. This included international experience, serving as the Legal Attache in Canberra, Australia and Paris, France. As the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Washington Field Office, he was the first agent on the scene of President Reagan's shooting; Tom directed the FBI's response to that crisis. Since retiring from the FBI, he has continued to remain engaged with law enforcement as a consultant dealing with biometrics and cyber issues. His commentary appears in the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Examiner. Tom has a BS from Fordham University; a MPA from John Jay College; and he completed the Senior Command Course at the British Police Staff College in Bramshill, England.
