Tim Andrews is a renaissance person and problem solver, and an expert in emerging technology and innovation. A technology leader in Booz Allen Hamilton's Civilian Services business, Tim also has broad expertise beyond technology including strategy, cognitive psychology, health care and life sciences. He has significant experience in large scale system design and development, and advances client missions through pragmatic use of leading-edge technology. Tim is an author of "A Brief History of a Perfect Future: Inventing the World We Can Proudly Leave Our Kids by 2050," and has been a prolific writer and public speaker throughout his career. Tim has been an independent advisor and in leadership positions in firms ranging from startups to large corporations. Prior to Booz Allen, he helped create New York’s innovative health information network as a Chief Architect, and worked with large corporations to develop and implement their technology strategies. In the late 90s, Tim was Chief Technology Officer for Viant, one of the first and most successful publicly traded Internet consulting companies, where he led the innovation group and worked with clients to help them understand and capitalize on the Internet. Tim was a Partner at Diamond Management and Technology Consultants (now part of PwC), where he led the development of the Digital Strategy practice in the mid 90s. Early in his career, in one of his most exciting experiences, he worked on the software for the original Macintosh computer and was a founder and Chief Technology Officer of one of the first unstructured database startups. Tim holds an A.B in Engineering from Dartmouth College and an MS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).
