Timothy Law has coached and taught at Hancock Central School in Hancock, NY, Guilford County, NC and in the York, PA area, as well as coaching wrestling and tennis. With five decades of teaching and coaching experience, he has developed many key distinctions along with his teaching and coaching philosophy. He believes there are four key success traits for the classroom and athletic arenas. They are: 1) The rapport or how well you deal with the students 2) What you know as a teacher or coach 3) How well you transfer what you know as a teacher or coach to the students 4) The ability to hold or glue the classroom or athletic field together with good communications Hi first book was actually a coaching manual that was released on Amazon in 2017 and called, "Playing it Forward." This later evolved into his Youtube channel known as Playing it Forward Coaching. His second book, released in August, 2024, is titled, "Mental Toughness for Teen Athletes, Post COVID-19" discussed the challenges and his solutions for the COVID-19 epidemic and the solutions for this. The big challenge for our students were the "enforced laziness" and corresponding negative habits so many of our students and athletes had to endure as well as the strategies on working through this issue. Tim is a big believer in our teens and their enormous potential to do great things in their lives if have a marketable skill, chase that skill with a solid work ethic, always go the extra mile and develop people and communication skills. This book will show a step by step way to do so.
