Tom Fay has had a most interesting and fulfilling life. In 2022 he graduated from Duke University with a Doctor of Ministry at the age of 77. But his biblical education started at the Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music (now Cornerstone University) with honors in Theology. Upon graduating, he was called into the pastorate ministry at a tiny church in a suburb of San Diego, California. The ministry grew mightily, and he founded the Southern California Bible College, which merged in 1997 to form the Southern California Seminary. He went back to get further education at Simpson College in San Francisco at age 30 (now Simpson University in Redding, California). After graduating with a degree in psychology, he entered the business world, making and losing and making fortunes as an entrepreneur in everything from real estate to telecommunications. In 2016 he graduated with a Master of Arts in Global Leadership from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California. The combination of a lifetime of experiences in both Christian ministry and the business world and back has given Tom an incredibly unique perspective on life in general and the Christian's life of faith in the Kingdom of God. He has discovered that the faith that Jesus taught, as recorded in the gospels, is as relevant today as it was in Jesus' day—both in business and ministry. Very few individuals have the experience that Mr. Fay has lived. Dr. Fay lives in Poway, California. He has two grown children and four grandchildren. He continues to write books on living by faith both for the academic and lay Christian communities. He is a dynamic and enlightening speaker and is available for speaking engagements.
