TOM GAUTHIER A retired corporate executive, organizational behavioral psychologist, novelist, writer, traveler, veteran, book reviewer, Tom calls himself a general overall knowledge seeker. His working career of nearly forty years took him to over twenty countries, always with close interaction with local people and cultures. Tom has published eight Action/Adventure Novels, four Historical Novels, four histories and more. He has received an International Award Literary Fiction Award from Writers Digest and acclaim on national TV (CBS Survivor) for A Voyage Beyond Reason. As a teacher, consultant, and lecturer, in these varied environments, Tom developed a deep understanding and appreciation for cultural uniqueness, and the very acute need for understanding and empathic communication. This has translated into his writing, recognized for its historical accuracy and interpretation of the probable interaction and emotions of the characters. Genealogy has been a passion of Tom's for decades and researching and writing "Of Kings and A Saint", joins "Charlotte la Beauté et la Tragédie", and "A Will to Survive - the Family Bastarache dit le Basque", as high point experiences in that journey. Tom traveled Quebec, providing geographic, historical, and cultural, opportunities to learn that are reflected in Charlotte and Will to Survive. Now travel around Europe and the British Isles has provided close up study for the creation of Kings, reflecting his lifelong interest in history. While writing for commercial publications and creating organizational and personal development texts and lectures was gratifying, Tom was waiting for retirement and the chance to dive into the deep end of the writing pool - the novel.
