Tony graduated Huntington High School in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 2001, before joining the U.S. Army. He went on to earn his Associates Degree in Biblical Studies in 2015 while stationed in Fort Polk, Louisiana. Later he completed his Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Gerontology (2015), and his Master of Arts in Health Care Administrations (2018) with Ashford University’s College of Health, Human Services, and Science. He completed his Doctoral Coursework in Educational Leadership (2022) and retired from the U.S. Army with over 22 years of service (2023). Religious Journey: Tony was baptized, Baptist, in 1991 at the Galilee Baptist Church in Keithville, Louisiana, a church that his 3rd great grandfather, Reverend Abraham B. Maiden, helped found in 1872. He served as the Youth Program Sunday School Superintendent from 1995-2001, and the Assistant Superintendent of the Church’s Sunday School Program 1999-2001. On April 12, 2014, he acquired an ordination with the Universal Life Church which entitles him to officiate weddings, baptisms, and ministerial work in the United States. On March 31, 2018, after years of debate and months of study, he was received into the Roman Catholic Church. On July 29, 2018, he joined the Knights of Columbus and the Prälatur Opus Dei in Deutschland, he was made a Cooperator of Opus Dei on January 3, 2020. He received an ordination from the Ordinationurkunde der Universellen Lebenskirche der Deutschland (Universal Life Church in Germany) on May 5, 2020, entitling him to function as a Minister in the Federal Republic of Germany. Tony became a Certified Catechist of the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS), USA, of the Roman Catholic Church after completing courses with Dayton University. He is the 14th Lord of the Manor of Packwoods, and English Historic Estate and Manor, currently serving as the Chancellor of the Royal House of Gbi Hohoe Ahado, a Ghanian Hereditary Dynasty recognized under Ghanian Law. In this capacity has has worked several treaties of mutual recognition and friendship, raised awareness and funds for the people of the Gbi Traditional Lands, and been recognized by several fraternities and Royal Houses for his humanitarian efforts.
