Tonya Bowers is a mom, businesswoman and Lupus survivor who has decided to share her story of her battle with Lupus. I wrote and first published The Barbaric Butterfly in 2005 and have since gotten request to re-release it. I suppose it's due to the surge of celebrities being diagnosed with Lupus and bringing more awareness to the disease. Whatever the case, I am much obliged to re-release with the hopes of lifting someone's spirit with my story.
