Torkel S Wächter was born in Stockholm, in 1961. After studies in Lund, Stockholm, Barcelona and Melbourne he worked as an airline pilot, until he decided to dedicate himself to Literature and art. His novel “Ciona - an autobiology” was short-listed for the August Prize for fiction (the Swedish Booker Prize).
