As a former Division I college athlete who played football for the Louisiana State University Tigers staying in shape is nothing new to Trey. Although training is important, Trey believes that good nutrition is as important, if not more important for optimal development, performance, and health. Certified Nutritionist Trey Triplette started 3natural Bionutrition after receiving his nutritionist certification from San Francisco College under the guidance of Lisa Yamashiro, MEd, RD. As part of his training, he studied a myriad of nutritional aspects including but not limited to clinical nutrition, food service, food science, and nutritional biochemistry. While attaining his certification he took part in many nutritional research studies and projects. Additionally, he is certified as a National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Lifestyle Coach and Diabetes Self-Management Training (DSMT) Coach through the American Association of Diabetes Educators. He then put his training and education into practice at community organizations and nutritional health centers such as the Children’s Council of San Francisco. He also actively supports the Vista Farmers Market, San Diego Ag in the Classroom, Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, Camp Pendleton Armed Services, American Association of Diabetes Educators, Team Cal Baseball and Alpha Bridge Partners to name a few.
