W.S. Olsen is the co-founder of Writers-In-Motion, a Book Trailer production company. He lives in North Carolina, and when not writing or teaching workshops, he flies RC airplanes. William began his writing career writing feature film screenplays. Five feature films produced from his screenplays have received national film festival honors and awards and have been distributed worldwide through distributors such as CBS/FOX Homevideo, Troma Entertainment, Comworld Pictures, VCI Entertainment, Showtime, USA Network and foreign distribution in twelve countries. His films have reached the Variety Top 50 Grossing Films chart for their year released. Olsen went on to teach screenplay workshops, creative writing, and film rights workshops for organizations such as Romance Writers of America, the Appalachian Writers Workshop, the Atlanta Film Festival, the University of North Carolina, The South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia Arts Commissions, The South Carolina Writer’s Workshop and the Asheville Writer's Workshop.
