As a new writer I have several goals. One is to write something interesting and educating. My books are based mainly in the southern rural America. I was born and raised in a big city, my parents moved to south Florida when I was a teenager. I have since lived in Montana, Colorado and finally settled in rural middle Tennessee. Moving to Tennessee made me feel that I was finally home. In writing my first book I wanted to show what real rural people were like, as opposed to how Television and Movies portray them. Also it was to show what a well prepared family could accomplish. There are many hints and learning experiences in my books that are real life events in rural living. My first book "The Bunker" contains many real life experiences. I have continued this trend with my new book "The Survival Compound. I value the reviews, good and not so good.
