Will Smith was born in Kansas City, MO in 1979. He grew up with his parents and an older sister. He had an affinity toward music and singing at a very young age, as well as enjoying making others laugh. Will attended Progressive Missionary Baptist Church and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 9 years old. After graduating from Lincoln College Preparatory Academy in 1997, he attended Graceland College (now Graceland University) in Lamoni, Iowa on a partial football scholarship. Will soon decided that college wasn't for him and that he wanted to pursue music and even stand-up comedy, which he did for almost 7 years in Kansas City. He then decided at the age of 28 to move to Atlanta, GA for more opportunity in the entertainment business. On December 21, 2008, Will would re-dedicate his life to Jesus Christ at Destiny Metro after years of straying away in his faith. Years later in 2013 he released his first Christian Hip Hop album entitled Rapshur: Diary Of A Man Renewed. A year later in 2014, God gave him a detailed dream and commanded Will to begin writing and producing a 2D animated cartoon series entitled Legacy A.D. He is still working towards that goal and has released the 1st issue of a comic book version of that dream.
