William Atlas was born in Nashville, TN. He has worked as a bartender, a grunt on construction sites, an English teacher, and a copywriter. He studied English at Belmont University and University of East Anglia, and received a Master’s Degree in English from Penn State. His work has been published in the Belmont Literary Journal. In 2015, he was awarded the James and Sara King Writing Award from Belmont University. The Lonely Americans is his first published novel.
