About the author Even before she understood the meaning of many words, Yani Nara loved listening to stories. In the evening, to fall asleep, she often wished for her favorite story about the mouse, which could collect feelings and smells. On weekends, just after five in the morning, when everyone was still asleep, she would sneak in front of the television to watch fairy tales. While playing, an audio book cassette played in the background and on birthdays, family members were treated to lavishly staged performances in the in-house Punch and Judy show. And although her older sister steadfastly claimed that Yani couldn't read, she soon began to read every book that came into her hands at lightning speed. The author was born in Germany in 1988 and studied education and philosophy at the University of Mainz. During and after her studies she worked in various educational institutions, mostly as a suggestion box, consultant and entertainer. Yani Nara traveled frequently within Europe during her childhood and after school her travels expanded to more distant destinations. Yani's blossoming imagination soon needed an outlet for the impressions she got while traveling, the experiences she gained while working as a social worker, and the general madness of everyday life. She began writing, but initially only for herself and friends. After a long journey, she decided to publish her stories under the pseudonym Yani Nara and become an author. After all, there are many ways to make people happy and the world a little more beautiful. According to the quote: “The planet no longer needs successful people. The planet desperately needs peacemakers, healers, innovators, storytellers and lovers of all kinds” (Dalai Lama).
