Kids SLT Publications is a group of writers (one of them is a Speech and Language Therapist with 2 decades of experience working with families - now working online) who are dedicated to education and learning in a fun way. They focus on developing speech and language through play and activities for younger children and intriguing the minds of older children. Kids SLT Publications is also very much aware of the struggles that parents have with children, their learning, and their development. With this in mind, we have many books for parents to read and get help from. Our professional skills and experience, allows us to relate to parents on a personal level and therefore we feel passionate about helping parents through our books and through our website (Kidssltessential) where parents can access free and paid-for training courses. Our Facebook group, kids delayed speech and language development support group’ is continuing to grow. We post free tips and strategies and share our books with parents to help them improve their children's speech and language skills. We are passionate about the importance of families spending time together, regardless of how old the children are. We are also creating a new series of short fun books for kids which are intended to relieve some of the pressure parents have. These short fun books can be shared around the dinner table or in the car and lead to more meaningful conversations. We are writing these books to foster a love of reading in children of all ages and at the same time, they hope to create a sense of curiosity for things that are in the curriculum but also in the world around them.
