e.E. Charlton-Trujillo is a Mexican-American author, filmmaker and co-founder of the nonprofit Never Counted Out. Trujillo has written several award-winning novels including: The Fat Angie trilogy, Feels Like Home and Prizefighter en Mi Casa. They are the co-author of two picture books, Lupe Lopez: Rock Star Rules (Candlewick Press, 2022) and Lupe Lopez: Reading Rock Star (Candlewick Press, 2023), with New York Times Bestselling author Pat Zietlow Miller.
