The chic Manhattan nightspot Du Vin is not the kind of place Eve Dallas would usually patronize, and it's not the kind of bar where a lot of blood gets spilled. But that's exactly what happens one cold February evening.

Story
It started out like any normal day. Then the fender bender happened. The guy I collided with drove an expensive car and was drop-dead gorgeous. Too bad he was also a total jerk. We argued over whose fault it was and any other thing that came out of his condescending mouth. Eventually, the police came and we went our separate ways. The insurance companies would have to figure things out. I had a job interview to get to anyway - one I was excited about. Though that excitement changed to disappointment the moment the person interviewing me walked in. The guy from the accident.

It was an entertaining story!
Reviewed: 10-29-20
Feeling troubled by the Covid19 world pandemic, I really needed a story that would take my mind away from it. I needed to escape all of my problems and troubles. This delightful story was just what I needed. The characters I felt were well developed and likeable. The storyline was entertaining. I've never listened to this author before. The narration was smooth and very enjoyable. I had no problem with the sexual aspects of the story. If You've loved and lived you know, it is what it is. It made the story more believable to me. I will be checking into this Author works for sure.

Reviewed: 11-05-19
I've been reading her books for many, many years. listening not as long. I hate to say it but I'm disappointed. I didn't even read the reviews until I was almost at the end. Feeling disappointed and wondering what other readers thought about it. Most of the reviews validates what I felt. I'm not a fan of this series so far. Zzzzzzzz hope it improves !

Everyone needs to be rescued sometimes. Everyone but Hannah Montgomery, that is. She just needs a vacation. Three weeks in New Zealand to sort out her life, figure out what she wants, seems just right. Oh, and to relax. She should definitely put that on the agenda. She certainly isn't looking for a fling with a professional rugby player, no matter how attractive he is. Hannah doesn't do casual. But maybe just this once.…
