Story
When Jess Montell meets Trace West at a hockey game, she doesn’t know his name or occupation. What she does know is there’s an instant attraction that’s impossible to ignore—or forget. And forgetting is exactly what she wants to do when she learns he’s not just a successful Wall Street suit but the heir to one of New York’s biggest Mafia families. The last thing Trace needs is a romantic anything with law enforcement, and parole officer Jess has trouble written all over her. Too bad he likes trouble.

I really don’t like mafia books, it’s just not my thing, but Tijan is one of the most brilliant authors of our time so of course I’ll read/listen to any of her books! This was a beautifully written story that held my interest throughout! I look forward to the sequel and ALL Tijan books!

Story
Talking to people about your designs might seem like a basic skill, but it can be difficult to do well. In many cases, how you communicate with stakeholders, clients, and other non-designers may be more important than the designs themselves. Because if you can't get their support, your work will never see the light of day - no matter how good it is. This practical guide focuses on principles, tactics, and actionable methods for presenting your designs.

Highly Informative!!
Reviewed: 09-28-22
Articulating Design Decisions was one of the best books on design that I’ve read so far! Not only did it give me insight on what it will be like when I start working for a tech company it also informed me what I really need to focus on that a bootcamp doesn’t cover! I see now why this book is so highly recommend to all designers! It also helps with handling real life situations which I appreciated and will incorporate in my daily life! Thank you Tom Greever for writing such a compelling book!

Story
I would say Dr. Cruz Costello is my archenemy. But that would require acknowledging one another, which we haven’t done in more than a decade. He’s the town’s golden child. The beloved quarterback-turned-physician. I’m the girl who got knocked up at 16 and now works at a diner. He is Fairhope royalty. I get my monarch dose from tabloid gossip. He’s well-off. I’m...well, off. When our siblings get engaged, Cruz’s parents invite both families to a pre-wedding cruise. Except Cruz and I find ourselves stuck on a different ship from everyone else.

Ummmm Helloooooo!!!

The voice character for Cruz had my melting like butter through almost the whole story! The only time I sobered up was when he did the female voices haha Anyway what a great story!! I loved Tennessee & Cruz! It was such a sad story and the family IMO were just awful which broke my heart for Tennessee! That’s all I have to say since I’m horrible and will end up giving spoilers!! Anyway listen to this book!! You won’t regret it!!

Why!
Reviewed: 01-18-20
The story was alright but the narrators drove me a bit nuts! Like the voices they made when the guys were talking were like the same voices I make when my boss or huz say something stupid and I mock them using that Chooch voice. I probably won’t listen to another audio book again for a long time and will go back and read this book so I don’t feel like I dislike it.
