Story
He was promised a life of wandering his new home and having adventures, but things got out of hand pretty quickly. He met with kings and gods, fought interdimensional cults, and got in a knife fight with the guy who creates universes. He didn't win. What he'd never done was roam around, having nice, sensible adventures. He hadn't even seen the hometown of his friends, and that had been the first destination on his list.

Tiny bit slow, but inclusive

This book feels a bit like a filler book, alot of reflecting and contemplating. Gender politics are included if thats your thing.

Warning spoilers: So the kid that can read minds believes a complete stranger who's lying while the whole reality and experiences with the whole team contradict what the guy said? She doesn't talk to her best friend, her mother, the robot, the teacher, nobody?! Also she's able to kill anybody with her thoughts, but she's afraid of a human? The second she switched sides, stopped the book, stopped the series

Far fetched and a bit political

So let's sumarize without any spoilers, every new badass has a nickname like if this were a comic book, people who should have zero competence with alien tech as they see it the first time are pros, aliens never use their devastating weapons in an devastating manner and Wick is becoming a verbal punching bag for all super strong females involved and tolerates disrespect far and wide.

While the eccentric, action-movie-worshipping battle android does his best to stay occupied, Reach and the colonists contemplate whether to help a mysterious faction inside the RUPAC stronghold. Nice but short and uneventful
Reviewed: 07-27-23
The whole book is actually 2 hours shorter, there's some additional content at the end, which doest relate much to the main story. The main part of the book feels like a conclusion to the series, stretched out to produce another book. The book felt a bit like coke zero, good start, but slightly weird aftertaste. I'm a fan of the whole series so overall 4/5, but I would have wished for more.

This series starts of great, then gradually fades into torture, the female voice actor is changed to a horrible one and there are entire "filler" books, the whole story grinds to a stop and you are left with disappointment about what the story could have been...

Story
To say things have changed since the battle with the demons would be an understatement. Louella is working to pick up the pieces that were seemingly held together only through the glue that was Regan. Can Louella rise to the occasion without the Regan's aid? With Lelune's followers decimated or losing faith along with the ever-ambitious Cassin finally making his presence in Celestia felt, the world is literally crashing down around her. That doesn't mean Lelune is going to lie down and let it happen. It has been a long time since the Celestials went to war. Can Murgin survive it?

Horrible horrible narration by the female narrator
Reviewed: 05-14-23
I do have more than 100 books on audible and I can say with certainty that this is the worst female narration I've ever heard, let me tell you, you'll realize this after first 5 seconds, whispering quiet, no emotions at all, it's very hard to differentiate between different characters being narrated

This part was a bit too much dialogue and not much action, also I really don't see why authors incorporate everyday sjw politics into fantasy
