I enjoyed the storyline. I disliked the voice inflection of the mercenary leader. I’m definitely going to read the second book.

I read mostly regency and historical books and wanted something different. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The actor has a wonderful voice and the story wasn’t as predictable as I was worried about. I’d recommend this book for a short, enjoyable trip to the ranch.

I tend to find an author I like and then read everything they’ve written. I was between writers and fell in love with this title, and now I’m in love with this book. I haven’t laughed out loud in a long time, it scares the cats. They’ve been doing a lot of hiding. Read this book!

I initially had trouble with the premise of a priest, a man of power and authority, ignoring his vows and engaging in a sexual relationship with a woman. I'm not condoning it but I understand. This is a very good story. i liked the narrators as well.

My favorite Penny Reid

What made the experience of listening to Beauty and the Mustache the most enjoyable?
I've read this book but not listened to it before. Having the poetry spoken increased the beauty of the words and I felt them in my heart.
Which character – as performed by Joy Nash – was your favorite?
I absolutely loved Drew. His quiet strength and honor were reflected in all of his actions. I also liked Ashley because she was able to see into Drew's depths and find herself. I thought Joy Nash' accent added much to the book.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
My emotions ran the gamut from laughter to sadness. Drew and Ashley's first meeting will always be one of my favorite meets.
