A clever & fun adventure into a magical world

This book is a complete page turner, I never wanted to turn it off. Em’s adventures are unpredictable and entertaining. You easily fall in love with the characters! Wendell is by far on of my favorite love interests to date, handsome funny and so much more! This book leaves you wanting more without to much of a cliffhanger. I found Em very down to earth and relatable. I would definitely recommend! I cannot wait for the next book!

Great story! Read after watching the show on Netflix. I have to say the book is better. 🥰 Just in case you are reading the series for the first time, skip the epilogues, specifically the second one. It has a spoiler in it.

Story
It had never occurred to Fitzwilliam Darcy that once he had chosen a bride, her father might dare to refuse his consent. When his dearest, loveliest Elizabeth is taken from him with only a curt note of explanation, he determines that, far from accepting her father’s rejection of his suit, he must instead find her again and make his case. After all, a woman worthy of being pleased is also worth fighting for.

The story itself is good and well thought out. I like the way Smythe portrays the Bennett family. The performance by Zimmerman is excellent as always. There is a spot on the audio though that got missed during editing. In chapter 30 around 7:30 a small blip happens but it’s over in a few seconds and none of the story is missed.

Great fun story. But In the audio, chapter 11 at 2.35 there is a pause in the audio and it goes on until 2.42. Other then that it’s a fun little story. Worth the credit.

My fiancé picked this book for me after I finished the Outlanders series and I couldn’t find anything to read. Let me say this book is a 10/10 would recommend to a friend. The characters are realistic not perfect people. The author does a wonderful job of unearthing things to you and the main character at the same time. The story catches your attention and does not let it go. It has the thrills of love, adventures, and friendship. The Performance is flawless!

One of the better JA Fan Fictions I have read
Reviewed: 01-22-21
This story is one of my favorites for fan fiction! The story is not only believable but true to JA characters. I like how independent Elizabeth still is. The author does not make her week or off the wall impulsive. How Darcy has normal human faults. Stevie Zimmerman is by far the best female narrator I have heard. This book is worth the cost/credit use.
