Story
Dalinar Kholin challenged the evil god Odium to a contest of champions with the future of Roshar on the line. The Knights Radiant have only ten days to prepare—and the sudden ascension of the crafty and ruthless Taravangian to take Odium’s place has thrown everything into disarray. Desperate fighting continues simultaneously worldwide—Adolin in Azir, Sigzil and Venli at the Shattered Plains, and Jasnah in Thaylenah. The former assassin, Szeth, must cleanse his homeland of Shinovar from the dark influence of the Unmade.

Personality? You mean a list of mental issues?
Reviewed: 03-05-25
Woke has corrupted Brandon’s storytelling to a preachy husk of what it used to be. He has substituted mental illness for personality, character development, and growth. I stopped reading during the pride sermon.

Amazing insight into the Strong impact that a mother has on her babies.

Mothers are important that I knew… but ….wow, this book really opened my eyes to just how STRONG the bond between mother and child is and how important it is to be in tune and truly in the moment with the child. Beautiful! I already shared with book with multiple others! Thank you for writing and sharing this book, Erica!

Story
Here is the timeless story of Mary Poppins, the world's favorite nanny, and her magical adventures with the Banks family. Mary Poppins is like no other nanny the Banks children have ever seen. It all starts when their new nanny is blown by the east wind onto the doorstep of the Banks house, carrying a parrot-headed umbrella and a magic carpetbag. She becomes a most unusual nanny to Jane, Michael, and the twins.

Good, very different from the movie
Reviewed: 05-19-22
This book is a great book itself. Very different from the movie though. It’s more a random collection of stories in the middle of the book, lacking storyline. The beginning and the end are the only parts that have any storyline whatsoever.
Don’t expect to be reading a book that’s just like the movie. Yeah
