Story
In a career that spanned decades, John Denver earned international acclaim as a singer, songwriter, actor, and environmental activist. Songs like "Take Me Home, Country Roads", "Rocky Mountain High", and "Annie's Song" have entered the canon of universal anthems, but at his start John Denver was a young man with little more than a fine voice, a guitar, and a dream. Growing up in a conservative military family, he was not expected to drop out of college and head to Los Angeles, where the music scene was flourishing. Nor was he expected to succeed.

Story
The year that changed everything for the Beatles was 1966 - the year of their last concert and of Revolver, their first album created to be listened to rather than performed. This was the year the Beatles risked their popularity by retiring from live performances, recording songs that explored alternative states of consciousness, experimenting with avant-garde ideas, and speaking their minds on issues of politics, war, and religion. Music journalist and Beatles expert Steve Turner investigates the enormous changes that took place in the Beatles' lives and work during 1966.

I want to thank the Good Lord above for creating brave American men such as, Mr. Robert Leckie. A soldier who fought so valiantly in the Pacific Theater of World War II.
Mr. Leckie also deserves our gratitude for enduring again his nightmarish experiences and sharing them through written word.
This Audible book was narrated by the very talented Actor, James Badge Dale, who played the part of Mr. Leckie in the HBO series, “The Pacific,” which is still available on the app, HBOMAX.
All in all, after hearing this book through Audible, then viewing the series, The Pacific, I now understand what the term used in days part, “Shell-Shocked,” really means. I wonder how men such as Mr. Leckie ever kept their sanity.

When men were MEN! I salute every man that fought in WWII, especially in the Pacific theater. Every soldier that gave their last full devotion should have been awarded a CMOH, and all who fought in combat during WWII should have never had to work another day of their life. This book proves my point.

As a politician, John F. Kennedy crafted an image that inspired and thrilled millions - and left an outsize legacy after his tragic murder. Only a select inner circle was privy to the man behind Camelot. In Johnny, We Hardly Knew Ye, Kenneth P. O'Donnell and David F. Powers, two members of Kennedy's "Irish Mafia," give an unflinching, honest, and intimate portrayal of the Kennedy family and JFK's presidency.

One of the best books of the political life of President John F. Kennedy that I have had the privilege of hearing. I have always been a JFK fan and have always tried to read everything about him and his family that I could get my hands on. Such a fan of JFK I am that I have traveled from Western Kentucky to his gravesite three times and wish I had the honor of meeting him when he was alive, but I would have needed a time machine to have done that. The things that would have been different had he lived. No United States soldiers would have been involved in the Viet Nam conflict for one. How many families lives would be different today for just that? He truly was a Great Man. Thank you Kenner P. O’Donnell & David F. Powers for such a well written story and thank you Fleet Cooper for a great and enjoyable narration!

This is the most devastating business and political horror story of the century. As Trump’s lawyer and “fixer”, Cohen not only witnessed firsthand but was also an active participant in the inner workings of Trump’s business empire, political campaign, and presidential administration.

I thoroughly enjoyed the the book, and how it goes into detail about how crooked the current President, Donald J Trump, actually is. I just hope the the American people realize the truth and express it at ballot box on November 3, 2020.
The narrator, Robert Petkoff, did an amazing job, and may search out his other works for future Audible purchases.
All in all, I found Disloyal: A Memoir, to be well worth my time and gave it 5 stars across the board.
My thanks to Michael Cohen for sharing his story, and I found it to be both truthful and enjoyable.
