Story
"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

not my litrpg favorite

character development was slow with lots of back and forth. Little explanation to the situation why both girls and the siblings are in the "new" world. One characters personal plight made me so upset, that I can only suppose this was the intent of tge author.
The part of the story I disliked the most were the repetitive and frankly unnecessary use of vulgarities! Stay away if you're looking for something less crass.

the cumulative vulgarities in combination with a disjointed story means I only made it 10 chapters in before abandoning the book.

the only disappointment I have is an increase in tge profanity. Story would be 5 plus stars without. each experience, each h character has a connection to real life. the struggle of identifying self and living with who one is, is real for us all. I'm interested to see how change creates needed adjustments in perception of self

I made it 9 chapters into the book and just could listen any more due to the frequency of the vulgarity. I was really enjoying the development of characters and where tge story was going. I find being surrounded by such in regular life I don't need to entertained by it, so I can't recommend this as a good listen.

Of the 8 books this was the best, for story, character development. I did not care for the one f-word, I feel the character who uttered such is above such gutter language. There is so much colorful use of english I'd like to see that instead. otherwise, I'm looking forward to the story continuing!
