Story
In the heart of the South Pacific lies Point Nemo, the most desolate and remote place on Earth. At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. When the International Space Station suffers a catastrophic failure and plummets through the atmosphere, it's here that Mission Specialist Julie Rohr, an astrobiologist studying living space dust called xylem, finds herself marooned. Julie's only hope for rescue lies in the hands of her estranged father, Dr. Finn Maddern, a renowned mycologist.

Great book to listen to. I've lost alot of sleep by not being able to put it down. Ray Bradbury was a perfect narrator. Would make an exciting miniseries. Now my mission is to collect Jeremy Robinsons other books.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

By night, Brian Johnson sings in the biggest rock 'n' roll band on the planet. But by day, AC/DC's charismatic, flat-capped frontman gets to indulge his passion for all things automotive. Car racer, car collector, and all-round car enthusiast, Johnson is an incurable, certifiable petrolhead who can't remember a time when four wheels didn't feature as large in his life as music

Ramblings without direction. His life and gears.

Liked listening to his rambling thoughts on anything with gears. It makes you wish you were standing in a garage overlooking one of his cars and a pint in your hand.

Story
When a spaceship landed in an open field in the quiet mill town of Sorrow Falls, Massachusetts, everyone realized humankind was not alone in the universe. With that realization everyone freaked out for a little while. Or almost everyone. The residents of Sorrow Falls took the news pretty well. This could have been due to a certain local quality of unflappability, or it could have been that in three years the ship did exactly nothing other than sit quietly in that field, and nobody understood the full extent of this nothing the ship was doing better than the people who lived right next door.

What did you love best about The Spaceship Next Door?
Steve Carlson gets the highest praise I can give, my time. I'm not a writer so I don't write reviews, and my time is precious. He needs to be recognized for the amazing job he has done with this book.
Have you listened to any of Steve Carlson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not heard any of his other books. I will seek out his other projects though.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The witty writing throughout the book is well done. The humor is brought out by the excellent job Steve Carlson did in the narration.
Any additional comments?
A must listen too book.
