About this listen

In the heart of the South Pacific lies Point Nemo, the most desolate and remote place on Earth.

At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. When the International Space Station suffers a catastrophic failure and plummets through the atmosphere, it's here that Mission Specialist Julie Rohr, an astrobiologist studying living space dust called xylem, finds herself marooned.

Julie's only hope for rescue lies in the hands of her estranged father, Dr. Finn Maddern, a renowned mycologist. Plucked from the depths of the Amazon rainforest, Finn is thrust into a daring rescue mission alongside a team of specialists. Their destination: an impossible island at the center of Point Nemo—an island that shouldn't exist—composed of xylem.

The island is a living enigma, giving birth to strange and terrifying creatures, each generation more evolved and deadly than the last. As the team delves deeper into the island's alien mysteries, they find themselves in a race against time: the island is moving. If it escapes the dead zone and reaches fertile waters, nothing in humanity's arsenal will be able to stop the invasive species from colonizing and remaking the world.

With their team dwindling and the stakes rising, Finn and Julie must confront their past and face an unthinkable choice. To save humanity, a sacrifice must be made. A life exchanged for the world. The burden of survival and the weight of their family's legacy falls on their shoulders.

Point Nemo by New York Times and #1 Audible bestselling author Jeremy Robinson is a chilling journey into the unknown, a tale of sacrifice and survival that blurs the line between science fiction and horror. It's a testament to the lengths a parent will go to protect their child and a stark reminder of our fragile place in the universe.

Can’t Go Wrong!

Another great one! This story is a bit darker than some of his more recent books, but it still has Jeremy Robinson’s trademarked humor, action, and heartfelt moments.

unique story

Jeremy Robinson does it again! I say it after every book, but with Point Nemo he created a story with everything I love about his writing & in life. As a mycology geek, I couldn't wait for the release of this book, I was not disappointed at all. it even got me in the feels. I lost my dad 4 months ago & the story reminded me a lot of my dad but I won't give the story away. I wish SO HARD that this book gets made into a movie, I really want to see the world he created. It has a little bit of everything, scifi, adventure, humor, action & mushies.Buy this, right NOW!

Alien shrooms!

JR and RC Bray are, hands down, my favorite audiobook team! And I love the often random, and sometimes obscure, 80s TV references Robinson just can't help but scatter throughout the dialog. Speaks to my flannel-wearing, cartoon-raised, Gen X heart!

Winning Combo

As. Is the casein many other book JR and RC make the story and characters come alive. Always a joy to listen to and hopefully many more to come.

like Jeremy Robinson on shrooms

this is a very good story from an author that has never put out trash every book with his name on it I have enjoyed so far I didn't jinx him the story timely with The last of Us season 2 coming out this fall.

Feels like a great start to a series

really fun book, I liked all the characters and the inclusion of some book nerd fan service. I hope it becomes a series or movie

Another Winner

RC Bray makes any book sound amazing. This book is a great story, (as always) with nice character development and heart-pounding action from beginning to end. I found it easy to visualize the creatures and structures and movement - very realistic! I am always a little down after a JR novel, searching with a tinge of desperation for my next fix!

Another great read (and listen)

This isn't quite Jeremy's usual style, but as usual, it doesn't disappoint. I couldn't put it down. This is another riveting story that would make an excellent movie, and I highly recommend it.!
