Story
The smallest of creatures often carry the sharpest of stings. Lydia Chapman is just such a vampire. Her small stature hides a mighty wit, a razor-edged tongue, and an implacable protector of the only natural-born vampire in existence. Here is the back story of the snarkiest hero on Team Gordon/Demidova, told in her own words, just for fans of the Demon Accords. Go ahead and underestimate her ... it'll be fun.

Narration was poor
Reviewed: 03-04-25
As always John Conroe's book was excellent. The narration was poor all around. I cannot think of anything about it that was passable. Definitely worth reading and if rereleased with the usual narrator it would be worth buying but with this reader it is not worth it.

Story
Stacia Reynolds, the famous White Werewolf, plucked from her quiet Vermont life and thrust into the supernatural world. Rescued from mauling by the Hammer of God himself, transformed into one of the most skilled weres in the world, stepping from impoverishment to fame and fortune, and destined to become partner to the most powerful witch ever. This is a story for Demon Accords fans, told by Stacia, in her own words.

As usual the story was great.

The story was great but the narration was sub par. The accents were awful. The characters voices were often indistinguishable. The pacing of sentences was off. Even with the words read correctly the inflection of the narrator did not convey the meaning of the sentence. The narration had two basic sounds; a monotone or a pitch that slid up and down the scale . The male and female characters sounded the same. Please use the original narrator even if the story is a female lead. His female characters were easily distinguishable and his accents were much better.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
If you ever wondered what it would be like to be inside of a role playing game this story is for you.
What was most disappointing about Neven Iliev’s story?
Total lack of humor that the published reviews raved about.
Which character – as performed by Jeff Hays – was your favorite?
While the narrator gave all of the roles good performances none of the characters was at all engaging.

Would you try another book from A.J. Knight and/or Elisa Berkeley?
No.
What was most disappointing about A.J. Knight’s story?
It stretched out what would have made one web page into what was claimed to be a book. It simply restated the contents of IRS guides into a verbose and flowery Wiki article.
