The ending of the battle was a little weak, but the story overall was top tier. This maybe isn't the strongest gesture book in the series but it's still great especially with RC Bray doing the voice work.

this series just gets better and better, everytime you meet new characters you either learn to care for them or want to see them get their defeat. the voice actor is one of the best in the business, his work on this series and the iron prince make me look for all of his work.

Asleep is by far the best military scifi author, you can tell he was able to add his experience and back grou d to make this series amazing. As a veteran this series hits some emotions that books written by civilians have yet to. The fear feels real, the loss heavy. 5 stars all day.
