I don’t know a single woman who hasn’t experienced insecurity. Self doubt. Self hatred even.
I also don’t know a single woman who is anywhere near totally comfortable with her own pussy.

Mama Gena teaches us what true confidence is.
It is connecting with the Divine within you.
Only then can you come into your true power as a woman.
And the way to do that, it turns out, is through the pussy. The very thing that we have been taught to feel fear and contempt and disgust toward.
It is our birthright as women.
I couldn’t have afforded not to read this book!
The time is now. Join the pleasure revolution and come into your divine womanly power in the process.

This book is incredible, and everyone living in the US today should read it. Mika is courageous in sharing her own struggles, and it's one I could relate to. I too am a food addict, and while my weight has fluctuated quite a bit over the years, (and I'm currently heavier than Mika,) it's not generally something you can tell by looking at me. Not only do I admire that kind of vulnerability, but it gives weight to her message (if you'll pardon the expression).
It's time to destigmatize weight. It's time to bring fat out of the closet. It's a national crisis on many different levels, but one that's hard to have an open conversation about. Mika has specific suggestions for how to do this, and what she believes is required to enact change.

Wow! These two have really done their homework!

This book is a thorough, well-researched, engaging, and fascinating look into what confidence is, what it is not, and why some of us seem to have so much more of it than others. There's science and storytelling, courageous personal anecdotes alongside interviews with professional athletes and heads of state. It is fabulously done.

The authors take a particularly keen (and relevant) look at why that disparity seems so pronounced in men vs women, but to say that only women would benefit from or be interested in the findings would be to do it an immense disservice.

From how to raise confident children (hint: it's the opposite of what many parents think), to what to say to a friend who's feeling insecure, to how to act and FEEL more confident yourself, this book is an invaluable resource for anyone who takes the time to read it. I don't know anyone who hasn't faced these issues at some point; I plan to reread this book many times over. It is a true gem and something I have been wishing for and seeking for many years. My only regret is not finding it sooner. Seriously, it is THAT good.

This book is truly life changing. The author gives a step by step guide to designing the life you want, complete with invaluable resources for doing so. Whether you love or hate your current job, whether you're a dreamer or if you've forgotten how, literally everyone should read this book. The narration was also probably the best I've ever heard - no exaggeration.
