This book is extremely well written and engaging. even though i didn't own a restaurant, the themes and advice it conveys are insightful as a small business owner. It's made me think about my business in new ways and I'm so happy it was recommended to me.

As a new practice owner, I've been reading a lot of these kinds of books lately trying to expand my business knowledge. Someone recommended "The E Myth" so I downloaded this "veterinarian" version thinking it would be more tailored to my practice. Boy was I wrong. Dont bother, it's terrible! They interchange the word technician for doctor, which is incredibly irksome. How can you give business advice to someone and not know the difference between a tech and a DVM? Most of the information is outdated and not in line with modern veterinary or general business practices. I would stick with the original E-Myth, which was a much better read. This was a total waste of money and time.
