Spoke to my SOUL
I stumbled across this book while watching the best episode of The Bear that was already inspirational enough. This book found me in a place of deep discovery and has helped to round some rough spaces in my world. I’ve longed to be a better husband, unreasonably loving Father and just a complete individual. This book has shifted me in a way I can’t explain yet. It’s like something I’ve been trying to articulate within me was suddenly spoken. I completed this book on the start of my 38th birthday and I know this year will catapult me into a new stratosphere armed with loving people deeper than ever before. Thank you Will for being gracious to my family and those I’m called to served through your shared wisdom. May God bless you immensely!

Magical!
I really loved this book and wish I could be friends with the author. So well written, weaving together philosophy and practice through story. It would make a great companion to Emyth Revisited and The Power of Moments for someone wanting to pursue any career in business and creative service.

One of the best books I’ve ever listened to…
First review I have ever given, and I listen to a lot of books! So enchanting! I felt like I was in NYC, watching it all unfold. No matter what business you are in this is a must read… It made me want to run my household better, and just do life always, from a unreasonable hospitality standpoint! Recommending to all my friends… thank you for sharing your story.

Applicable in personal and work life
This book inspired me. It allowed me to see things from a different perspective which is always an enlightening experience to enjoy. My contracting "boss" (I say that in quotes because she's one of us too, in essence), showed me the Ted talk with Will and I was inspired to read his book (which she also offered to pay for). She sees the value in the same things I do and we have worked together since 2015 sharing resources for growth and our big ideas. This book gives valuable insight into evolving your mindset to see opportunities and go for them, it brings inspiration and ambition into the workplace in a positive manner, with respect to those around you. Who doesn't want to be a part of an inspired, motivated and focused team, while still having fun together and feeling a part of something bigger than yourself!?

Inspiring Story for this Day and Age...
Quite a bit of the book seemed more egotistical than educational to me but still a great story overall. A few great quotes and references to hold onto, especially the Miles Davis reference and the quick lesson on "How to Serve". I recommend at least a listen. I'm kinda glad I didn't purchase the physical book. It was a recommended read by a manager within the company I work for.

So inspiring
As an HR professional, I feel passionate about hospitality as a core tenant of how I do what I do. I was a hostess in a high volume nyc restaurant for several years in my early 20s. That experience shaped so much about me and although I’m a business strategist, I very much agree that anyone who loves what they do and loves people can be in the hospitality business. So grateful for this!! Listen to the last second. There are lessons up to the last sentence.
