The first book in the new Shark's Edge series by Victoria Blue and Angel Payne has a little something for everyone. Alpha-billionaire hero, Sebastian Shark will quicken your pulse with his dominant vibe. Virginal, strong-willed and sometimes hot-tempered Abbigail Gibson makes a fiery heroine, The "whodunnit" plot unfolds from the very start of the story and the characters are well developed. Even though there is a cliffhanger ending, the next book in the series is already available, so there is no actual wait time. The sex scenes are off the charts hot— like we've come to expect from this dynamic writing team. The dialogue is quick and witty and keeps the story moving along at a nice pace. The narrators are top-notch and bring entertaining life to the characters. Jacob and Erin never disappoint, and this story is no exception. I can't wait to get going on the next book!

Fantastic from start to finish!

I'm fairly new to the audiobook experience, but I couldn't be happier that I chose this title to lose my Audible virginity with. The story is expertly written by one of my favorite authors, Meredith Wild, and the narrators deliver a delightful version of the tale. I really enjoyed their cadence and varied voices for the different characters that appear throughout the chapters and found myself talking back to my phone or car stereo as I was listening, as though the characters were right in the same room with me. I'm excited to continue on with the series as it's very entertaining. I love the suspense and above all, the love story. The heat between the hero and heroine has me pressing pause here and there to catch my breath while I'm listening too. Great job all around. Definitely recommend!
